Mike DiPalermo was in a mood to talk following the Great Lakes Loons contest against the Lansing Lugnuts, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Lugnuts, 2-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," DiPalermo said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Lansing on a 5-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 4 strikeouts.
