Tze Brilliant as Cougars Top Bees, 4-0
|
The Kane County Cougars received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Chi-ju Tze, allowing them to bump off the Burlington Bees, 4-0. Kane County has a record of 5-3.
Tze was the winner. He's now 1-0, after putting the Burlington offense in a vise grip. Over 8.1 innings, he gave up no runs on 3 hits, while racking up 7 Ks.
"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Kane County manager Vince Lindsay. "That's what Chi-ju is right now."
