The Fort Wayne TinCaps beat the West Michigan Whitecaps, 6-1. Fort Wayne pitcher and Glasgow, Delaware, native Dustin Keiser led the way. Keiser, now 2-1, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Earl Walmsley recorded his 1st save for Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne used a well-timed hit by Josh Peek to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the TinCaps ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
