5-0 Loss to Dragons Extends Bowling Green Losing Streak
Dayton starter Guillermo Riano pitched well against the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Bowling Green Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-0. Dayton is now 7-1.

Phil Young had a big bases-clearing triple for the Dragons in the top of the first inning. With Dayton leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a splitter from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Vinny Curiel and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragons ahead, 4-0.

"We've hit a lull," said Bowling Green manager Ernesto Torre.
