The Great Lakes Loons defeated the Fort Wayne TinCaps, 10-4, at Dow Diamond. Great Lakes was led by 23-year old center fielder David Nelson, who was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. The loss drops Fort Wayne to 6-4.

Great Lakes went up, 6-4, on Kai Robinson's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Robinson hit in the bottom of the seventh, made Fort Wayne pitcher Brian Massey grimace.

"We took home the win," said Robinson. "What's not to like?"
