Loons Topple Dragons, 5-3
|
Great Lakes pitcher Eric Anderson did his part in helping his team beat the Dayton Dragons, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Anderson got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 4 over 5.2 innings. Anderson allowed no runs. With the win, Great Lakes climbs to 8-3.
The Loons got a lift from third baseman Curt Kruse, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Loons on top, 4-0.
"Winning never gets dull," said Anderson.
