Gustavo Aleman led South Bend to a triumph over Great Lakes. The final score was 7-3. The designated hitter went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 3 RBI. Losses have been few and far between for the Loons, who are now 12-4.

With South Bend leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Aleman hit a fastball from Tyler Jones for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cubs ahead, 5-1.
