Classic Park was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Lake County Captains defeated the Lansing Lugnuts, 7-6, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to right fielder Larry Seiger, who was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Captains. The winner in relief was Danny Cruz. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Lake County. That's when Nolan Neace hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Keith Raisor to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Neace told the Lake County News.

With the win, Lake County boosts its record to 10-6.
