Conditions were not ideal but Burlington and Beloit were able to put their game in the books.

Mitch Jarrell pitched a gem to lead Burlington to victory over the Beloit Snappers, 4-0. Rafael Valentin earned the save for Burlington, his 1st.

Aaron Wanner had a big run-scoring triple for the Bees in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Burlington leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Hess and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bees ahead, 2-0.

"From the first pitch, Mitch was ready to rock and roll," said Burlington manager Brian Zimmerman.

The loss makes Beloit 10-9.
