Peoria Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Chiefs fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Peoria Chiefs defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits, 6-5, in Midwest League action at Dozer Park. Peoria pitcher Danny Rubino had a standout performance. The loss puts Quad Cities at 14-10.

Michinao Morioka was the walk-off hero for Peoria. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Chiefs first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Morioka said.
