Chiefs Use Late-Game Magic to Beat TinCaps, 4-2
A 4-RBI performance from the 21-year old center fielder Ron Wise helped the Peoria Chiefs beat the Fort Wayne TinCaps, 4-2. Picking up the save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Tony Hendrix. The win has Peoria at 12-13.

Wise had a timely hit for Peoria in the top of the ninth. With Peoria trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-0 sinker into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 4-2, Peoria.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Wise.
