Chris Mixon had a good game, but he could not keep the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers from falling, 6-4, to the Lansing Lugnuts at Cooley Law School Stadium. The Wisconsin third baseman was 2-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Andrew Wright notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. His record now sits at 2-2. With the victory, the Lugnuts upped their record to 17-13.

The Lugnuts got a big at-bat from second baseman Jared Kuna. For the game, Kuna went 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 5th double of the season gave Lansing a 3-2 lead.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Lansing manager Robert Ely.
