The Lansing Lugnuts soundly defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits, 11-2, at Modern Woodmen Park. Mario Silva let his bat do the talking. He went 4 for 5 with 3 doubles. He scored 4 times and drove in 2 for Lansing. Lansing now sports a record of 15-16.

With Lansing leading 3-1 in the top of the second, Silva came up to bat against Quad Cities pitcher Jaden Houston. Silva hit a slider to center for a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season put the Lugnuts on top, 5-1.
