Timber Rattlers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Whitecaps
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers beat the West Michigan Whitecaps, 9-4, at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. Wisconsin right fielder Erick Rios collected 2 singles and 1 double with 1 RBI. David Barragan collected save number 1. The 5th-place Timber Rattlers have won 6 straight.

The Whitecaps had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Timber Rattlers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old shortstop Chris Drouin came to the plate. Drouin hit a grand slam home run on a 3-1 fastball from West Michigan hurler Tim Wood. It was Drouin's 4th home run of the year.

"The vibe's good," said Wisconsin manager Geghetsik Kazaryan. "We've got to keep it going."
