The home crowd had a good time watching the Kane County Cougars and Bowling Green Hot Rods get after it.

Starting pitcher Ronnie Hoover gave the Bowling Green Hot Rods a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Kane County Cougars, 3-0, at Bowling Green Ballpark. Hoover picked up the win for Bowling Green, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 1-4.
