The Dayton Dragons were defeated, 3-2, by the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park, even though Nate Boots pitched well for Dayton. Andy Campbell got the save, the 3rd for him this season. The Chiefs saw their record improve to 21-13.

Harris Meehan hit a run-scoring double off Nate Boots in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Chiefs in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Meehan had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
