The Beloit Snappers, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Harry C. Pohlman Field.

Beloit starter Ian Lowe pitched well against the Lansing Lugnuts at Harry C. Pohlman Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Jon O'Connor, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 3 innings.

The decisive blow was delivered by David Sorenson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Brian Schaller to win the game for Beloit. The home crowd went nuts.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Sorenson told reporters after the game.

Beloit, with the win, is 9-25.
