Bees Nose Past Clinton, 7-6

Burlington beat Clinton at Community Field, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to center fielder Ryan Bennett. He went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. At 17-20, the Bees claim third place in the Western Division.
Chris Gautreaux was the walk-off hero for Burlington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bees right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This wasn't a good win," said Bennett. "It was a great win."
