Timber Rattlers Drop 8-6 Decision
|
The Quad Cities River Bandits defeated the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, 8-6, at Modern Woodmen Park. Eddie Miller, who is tied for 3rd in the MID in hits with 51, was a standout performer for Quad Cities. His 3 hits included 1 single and 2 doubles -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. Luis Castillo picked up the win, lifting his record to 4-5 on the season. He struck out 12 and walked 1 in 7 innings, while yielding 5 runs. Dave Kennedy collected save number 1.
