Community Field played host to some high drama.

The Burlington Bees stifled the Beloit Snappers, 3-2, at Community Field. Josh McCallister, who is tied for 2nd in the MID in bases on balls with 33, had his hitting cap on. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks for Burlington. The Bees now own a record of 32-17.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Burlington. That's when Bill Gadsden hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Xavier Davis to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We were in it," said Beloit manager Jeff Brock. "We just didn't score enough runs."
