Erickson Leads River Bandits to Win
The Quad Cities River Bandits beat the Burlington Bees, 9-2, at Modern Woodmen Park. The win was due in part to second baseman Chad Erickson, who slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Will Lepp, the winner, improved to 6-4. He held Burlington to 1 run on 6 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts. Burlington's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

Travis Goodman dealt the Bees a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Quad Cities leading 2-1, Goodman hit a 1-2 sinker for a 2-run single.
