Sanchez goes 4-for-5 to Ignite Loons Offense
In a high-scoring game between Great Lakes and Dayton, right fielder Juan Sanchez was a difference-maker. The 24-year-old helped Great Lakes grab the 10-9 win. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Fidel Gonzales got the win, improving to 5-1. The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Sanchez hit a 2-run double off Walt Cannell. It propelled the Loons into the lead, 6-4.
