In a tight affair between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Clinton LumberKings, pitcher Luis Castillo was in the zone. The Quad Cities right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Alex Molina nailed down the save. The last-place River Bandits hiked their record to 22-34.
Castillo confounded Clinton hitters. Over 7 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.
"Luis did a good job of managing their lineup," said Quad Cities manager Maxwell Judson.
