Starting pitcher Joe Lee had a solid game. He was a big reason the Great Lakes Loons throttled the Dayton Dragons, 5-1. With the victory, the Loons upped their record to 37-19.

The Loons got a big at-bat from designated hitter Roberto Sifuentes. For the game, Sifuentes was 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Great Lakes a 2-1 lead.

"Joe was terrific -- better than terrific, really," said Great Lakes manager Ivan Cruz.
