Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Dayton Dragons and Great Lakes Loons.
Starting pitcher Jesus Reyes was a major factor in the 3-2 Dayton Dragons triumph over the Great Lakes Loons. The win went to Dan Costello in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Roberto Perez took the loss.
Antonio Gerardo hit a run-scoring triple off Roberto Perez in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Dragons in front, 3-2. Gerardo had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
Gerardo said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
Dayton has a record of 30-29, placing them 5th in the Eastern Division.
