Will, Timber Rattlers Notch Nifty 3-0 Win Over Clinton
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Clinton LumberKings, Jon Will was the X factor. The Wisconsin right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Bobby Pekala was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 11 of 13 save opportunities. The LumberKings, now 17-46, have lost 4 in a row.
Wisconsin starter Jon Will was dynamite. The 6-foot-8 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"Jon mixed and matched," said Wisconsin manager Geghetsik Kazaryan.
