Wisconsin Makes It 11 Straight, Barely
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers beat the Burlington Bees, 8-7 -- though it took them 11 innings. Wisconsin right fielder Ricardo de la Torre had a pretty good game. He went 5-6 with 2 triples and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Wisconsin reliever Daniel Reyes picked up the win, raising his record to 6-3. Ernie Anderson was tagged with the loss. The Timber Rattlers, now 52-14, have won 11 in a row.

Wisconsin got a knockout punch from Chris Mixon. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This team is flying high right now," said de la Torre after the game.
