The Kane County Cougars defeated the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Luke Russell. Russell hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Cougars on the day. Picking up his 5th save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Roberto Perez.
