Jorge Rendon was outstanding against Clinton. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the MID in wins with 7, had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Bees 6-3 win. The winner was Rendon. He threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Edwin Covarrubias. At 28-37, Burlington is in 4th place in the Western Division.

The Bees picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Jorge was in attack mode the whole game," said Burlington manager Brian Zimmerman.
