The Quad Cities River Bandits topped the Clinton LumberKings, 10-5, with shortstop Jason Snyder playing a big role. Snyder went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the River Bandits in the win. The win went to Edwin Ramirez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Eduardo Rodriguez took the loss. With the win, Quad Cities goes to 30-37, while the LumberKings fall to 32-35.

Quad Cities left fielder Ryan Wright contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 58th hit of the season and put the River Bandits ahead, 2-0.

"I felt good up there," said Wright. "I saw the ball well."
