Timber Rattlers Handle Bees, Grab 9-6 Win
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers beat the Burlington Bees, 9-6, at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. Wisconsin designated hitter Rick Reid, who is tied for 6th in the MID in RBI with 38, collected 2 singles and 1 double with 1 run batted in. The win went to Nolan Janoski in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Derrick Landry took the loss. Matthew Gillespie was credited with the save for Wisconsin, his 4th of the season.

Tim Erber aided the Wisconsin cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a hit by pitch.

Timber Rattlers manager Ryan Mills wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."

At 33-41, the Timber Rattlers claim 5th place in the Western Division.
