Harry C. Pohlman Field was the site for Midwest League action featuring the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Beloit Snappers.

The exploits of second baseman Chris Schmucker helped the Beloit Snappers defeat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, 7-2. Schmucker went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Jose Espinosa picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Isaiah Rhodes was tagged with the loss.

With Beloit leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Schmucker hit a 2-run single off Wisconsin hurler Roberto Guterrez. It was the 17th hit of the season for Schmucker and put his team ahead, 6-1.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Schmucker after the game.

At 28-48, Beloit is in 7th place in the Western Division.
