Snappers Lose as Timber Rattlers Stage Late Rally
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers picked up a win at Harry C. Pohlman Field, downing the Beloit Snappers, 8-5. On the mound for Wisconsin was right-hander Kevin Austin, who played a pivotal role in the win. Matthew Gillespie earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 2-2. Wisconsin is in 5th place in the Western Division with a record of 35-45.

Wisconsin took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Shane Blanchfield hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Timber Rattlers in front, 7-5.
