Community Field played host to some real drama.

The Burlington Bees overcame a pretty good performance by Beloit second baseman Chris Schmucker, beating the Snappers, 4-3, at Community Field. Schmucker went 3-5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times. The setback makes Beloit 28-53.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 26-year old left fielder Ian Drinkwater had a chance to be the hero. Beloit pitcher Bobby Coronado wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Drinkwater hit a sacrifice fly. The Bees had themselves a thrilling win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Drinkwater.
