Big Day for Wolfe: Swats 5 Hits
South Bend shortstop Justin Wolfe had a big day at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium against the Lansing Lugnuts. The 25-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 13-3 Cubs triumph over Lansing.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Wolfe said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Justin Wolfe flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.

Wolfe is hitting .256 so far this season with 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 52 hits including 5 home runs, 10 walks and .298 OBP.
