Manny Castro never let the TinCaps get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Captains to a win, 4-1. The Captains bumped their record to 49-33 with this latest triumph.

Castro was charged with 1 run on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Captains. With the win, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-hander goes to 5-5.

"Manny showed what he's made of," said Lake County manager Garrett Holt.
