The Burlington Bees faced a tough opponent in Wisconsin pitcher Ken Scarabino, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium by a final score of 5-2. Scarabino went 5.2 innings and allowed no runs. Reliever Chris Skinner picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Kevin Austin took the loss. The Bees now own a record of 58-27.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Miguel Brenes? The Burlington left fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Bees on top, 3-0. For the game, Brenes had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It was a solid team effort," Brenes said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
