The Great Lakes Loons picked up a win at Dow Diamond, downing the Dayton Dragons, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Great Lakes was right-hander Matt Bartos, who played a pivotal role in the win. Great Lakes is now 59-30.

The Loons got a clutch hit from designated hitter Jonathan Covas. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Loons.

Covas said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
