Another Day, Another Win for Whitecaps
The West Michigan Whitecaps downed the Kane County Cougars, 6-0, at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. West Michigan pitcher Miles Bailey had a scintillating performance. Bailey, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 3, walking 4, and allowing no runs. West Michigan has now won 9 in a row.

West Michigan used a clutch at-bat from Collin Dean to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Whitecaps ahead, 6-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"This game can get contagious when you're going good offensively," said West Michigan manager Noah Fourie.
