The Burlington Bees rode a solid performance from 23-year-old starting pitcher Kyle Crowe to a win, beating the Lansing Lugnuts, 2-1, at Community Field. Tony Sanchez closed it out for Burlington, earning his 16th save. Burlington has 7 straight wins, Lansing 5 straight losses.

Ian Drinkwater had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for Burlington. He came through with a 2-run single to put Burlington in front, 2-1.
