The Great Lakes Loons defeated the Burlington Bees, 9-1, at Community Field. Great Lakes right fielder Morgan Fiore had a superb performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Eric Anderson earned the win to go to 7-1. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 4 walks and 1 strikeout in 6.1 innings of work. The second-place Loons have a record of 61-30.
