Down Go Hot Rods Again, 3-1
|
In a tight game between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Bowling Green Hot Rods, pitcher Dan Buskey was terrific on the mound. The Wisconsin left-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. Mitch White collected save number 19. Now 24-71, Bowling Green has lost 16 in a row.
Jody Gifford had a direct impact on the outcome. Gifford contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Wisconsin up, 3-1.
"We're not going to feel sorry for ourselves," said Bowling Green skipper Francisco Pereyra. "Wouldn't do any good."
