The Dayton Dragons scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park. Dayton pitcher Brian Scalfaro held his own in the contest. The Dragons now own a record of 47-50.

Ryan Griffin had a direct impact on the outcome. Griffin contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Dayton up, 4-1.

"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Scalfaro.
