Wisconsin Falls Again, 2-0
|
Getting an impressive start from Angelo Pena, Dayton beat Wisconsin by the score of 2-0. Garrett Underwood nailed down the save. The 5th-place Dragons are 49-49.
Chris Gilmore had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Dayton. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Dayton in front, 2-0.
Gilmore was in a reflective mood after the contest. He told the Dayton Observer, "Every game is it's own challenge. That's what keeps the competitive fire alive."
