Timber Rattlers Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to River Bandits
No one was more impactful than Jeff Reed in the 10-5 Quad Cities win over Wisconsin. Reed, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2109 draft, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Keaton Edwards got credit for the win, improving to 11-3. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. The losses continue to mount for Wisconsin, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

In the top of the ninth inning, Quad Cities got a key at-bat from Reed. With one out, a runner on 1st and the River Bandits trailing 5-3, Reed hit a 2-run home run.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Reed. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
