The Bowling Green Hot Rods downed the Dayton Dragons, 3-0, at Bowling Green Ballpark. Bowling Green pitcher Miguel Galvez had a scintillating performance. Dave Ralph earned the save for Bowling Green, his 10th of the year. The last-place Hot Rods bumped their record to 46-59.

Galvez dominated for Bowling Green, raising his record to 7-4. Dayton hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 6.
