Fading Snappers Lose 6th Straight
Ben Hoffner had a strong outing for the Burlington Bees against the Beloit Snappers at Community Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Burlington is looking good at 74-32.

Burlington got a knockout punch from Pete Kennedy. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Kennedy said.
