The Bowling Green Hot Rods beat the South Bend Cubs, 6-4, at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. The Hot Rods got a fine performance from third baseman John Ritter, who went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Mike Chase, the winner, goes to 9-9.
