LumberKings Suffer 2-0 Road Loss
|
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers got a stellar effort from pitcher Chris Barrett, helping Wisconsin score a win over the visiting Clinton LumberKings, 2-0. Wisconsin, at 56-53, holds down third place in the Western Division.
The Timber Rattlers got a big at-bat from first baseman Zach Ryan. For the game, Ryan went 1-3 with a triple. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 4th triple of the season gave Wisconsin a 1-0 lead.
"This was a game where every at-bat, every pitch counted," said Ryan.
