Travis St. Pierre impressed in the 5-1 Lansing win over Great Lakes. St. Pierre was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win for the Lugnuts lifted their record to 70-41.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when St. Pierre hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Lugnuts into the lead, 3-0.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Lansing manager Osamu Nakao.
