LumberKings Get Close Win Over Chiefs, 7-6
The Clinton LumberKings knocked off the Peoria Chiefs, 7-6, at Ashford University Field. John Ramirez was a big reason Clinton won. The first baseman went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Chiefs, at 48-63, have lost 6 in a row.

Nate Sheehy was the walk-off hero for Clinton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the LumberKings right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
